Biohackers as DNA

The first season of Biohackers on Netflix in 2020 was a resounding success, entering the German Netflix charts at #1 within hours of release. SERVA made a guest appearance in the third episode with the HPE™ BlueHorizon™ and was big on display. The idea behind the biohacking theme must have inspired the two creative minds at REBMANN+POGUNTKE from Berlin. If it’s going to be a sci-fi series about DNA and CRISPR, then do it right – the series itself has to become DNA! Quadruplexes of digital “0” and “1” of the film material of the first episode were transcripted into the four nucleic bases “GATC” (building blocks of a DNA). The 400 million DNA sequences were put into the same order and synthesized. This resulted in the first series preserved as DNA. All information about the project can be found here.
